values based relocation

In this episode of the Millennial Pioneers Podcast, we are going to take a deep dive into values-based relocation, exploring our personal (and family) approaches to evaluating current and/or future living situations, and discuss how we both made the decisions to move out of CA! But this episode can apply to move out of any state…

We originally wanted to make the episode about leaving California, as a staggering 700,000+ people left California between April 202 and July 2022. However, after thinking about it, I realized that with the huge uptick in the ability to work remotely from home, so many people, all over the country, are reassessing where they are living. People have the opportunity now to intentionally come to a decision or not of whether where they are currently living is still a good fit for them.

Choosing a place to move to, especially if it is out of state can be such a daunting, stressful task. You’re leaving everything you know, and throwing a dart at the map. It can feel like that, for sure.

So we wanted to share with you the approaches that we took to make the big decision to move and to where… and trust me when I say, they are completely different approaches.
