After talking about starting a podcast for years, more seriously for the last year—my bestie, Sammy Davis and I are starting the Millennial Pioneer Podcast.

Our husbands sat, amused, listening to us cackle (or honk and wheeze) for YEARS. We had a ton of encouragement and egging on by our husbands to get a podcast going. My husband often lovingly said we reminded him of Click and Clack– without ANY of the automotive talk.

So what is this podcast going to be about?

The Millenial Pioneer Podcast: a podcast that questions the status quo, but without being overly cerebral or intimidating, a podcast where we won’t take ourselves too seriously—with a side of education. One that will give you more options toward creating a life you’re proud of, a life that fulfills you, and one that you will love.

One that feels authentic to you.

I feel there are so many things we just do in our life because we are told that’s how it’s done. We go to public school, we go to the hospital to have a baby, we drink pasteurized milk, etc, etc…

…and there is absolutely nothing wrong with those things…IF that’s intentionally what you’re choosing for your life.

But ARE you intentionally choosing it, or was that how you were told it’s done?

Without intentional choice, it doesn’t leave room for a different experience that MAY be better for you. We hope to bring those topics up, ask hard questions, and hopefully, break down some barriers, while hopefully making you laugh.

To anyone who has ever met Sammy and me, you know it’s not going to be heavy and unapproachable… we won’t be taking ourselves too seriously over here.

We want to dive into and get curious on these topics in a way that educates and even may dispel common myths, but also making it fun and keeping it real real.
